I was a full time Chemist for 7 years, now I am a Chemistry lab Supervisor (I've learned over the years that it's not my passion, but it's a decent gig and it pays the bills). I also freelance and do contract work as a video game texture artist mainly but also have done general digital art and design commissions. I have a BS in Biochemistry and secondary major in Fine Art.
Hobbies and Interests:
I have always drawn(comics, video game art, and anime etc...)
I love science fiction. I play a bit of guitar (blues and rock mostly). I practiced and helped teach Goju Karate as a 1st degree black belt but work has since gotten in the way :/ I try to get back on a weekend here and there.
I like having hobbies. My latest hobby is texture modding. I am the creator of MEUITM my first mod. I have also modded and am the new project owner of the Super Mario Galaxy HD 1 and 2 Texture mods. I have done 3 character mods for Dragon Age Origins. I am working on texture modding DOA5LR, very stop and go as I find time. I have also modded FFX HD Remaster various textures and characters. These mods have recently landed me some contract work on an upcoming video game. I will update more when it's released for now mum's the word ;\.
The type of texture mods I typically do are HD texture mods that are aiming to preserve the original art direction of the game but add details lost to DXT compression/limited resources of older tech and bring the textures up to a more modern look/level.
With that said, some may find most of my mods boring. But, I occasionally will do new textures that take objects and/or characters in new directions upon request and/or if the need strikes me.
